Google confirms new concessions offer in EU's Fitbit deal review

Google has confirmed that it offered today fresh commitments to the EU merger regulator over its Fitbit acquisition (see here).

First, Google said it has been working with the European Commission on an “updated approach to safeguard consumers' expectations that Fitbit device data won't be used for advertising.”  

A new concession will “further strengthen”
