Goldman bid, post-1MDB, for qualified asset manager clearance meets little objection

Goldman Sachs has received minimal pushback against its bid to clear a US regulatory hurdle following the guilty plea of its Malaysian subsidiary in connection with corruption at Malaysia's 1MDB fund.

Only a single objector weighed in on Goldman's request for an exemption that would allow it to continue managing retirement assets normally
