Golden Peanut Co.’s $45 million settlement with peanut farmers ‘adequate,’ US judge says

Golden Peanut Co.’s $45 million settlement with a class of peanut farmers provides “adequate relief” for antitrust violations alleged by the farmers, the US judge overseeing the case said today.
“The court has what it needs to move on,” District Judge Raymond Jackson said.
