Global monitoring of virtual assets needed, Brazil financial intelligence unit director says

Global financial control authorities must urgently address the monitoring of virtual assets, Brazil financial intelligence unit director Rafael Bezerra Ximenes de Vasconcelos said.

Vasconcelos is the supervisory director of the Council for Financial Activities Control, or COAF, the body responsible for monitoring financial transactions in Brazil.
