FTC's ability to seek monetary redress threatened by pending US Supreme Court ruling, experts say

If the US Supreme Court, as many expect, strikes down the US Federal Trade Commission’s ability to seek monetary redress under its Section 13(b) authority, it could take a decade or more for the agency to return money to consumers taken through fraudulent schemes, an FTC lawyer said today.
