FTC Commissioner Chopra will step down from post Friday to join CFPB

FTC Commissioner Rohit Chopra will leave the agency at the end of this week as he heads off to lead the Consumer Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, MLex understands.
The departure of Chopra, a Democrat, will leave the agency with a 2-2 split along party lines until the post is filled.
