Foreign investments in US to undergo broader national security reviews with approval of new rules

US companies involved in foreign business and real estate transactions that cover critical technologies, infrastructure and sensitive personal data will be subject to new national security reviews next month, following the Treasury Department's approval of a pair of rules today that would broaden the scope of the Committee on Foreign Investment
