'Fit for 55' files snapped up by EU Parliament's two biggest groups

A revision of the EU's Renewable Energy Directive will be led by center-right lawmakers the European People's Party, while the revision of the Energy Efficiency Directive will be led by the center-left group the Socialists & Democrats as the two files are steered through European Parliament talks, MLex has learned.
