Fines for serious antitrust violations look set to increase in South Korea

Companies that commit serious antitrust violations in South Korea could face fines that are twice as high as they are now, according to updated rules from the country's competition regulator.

In a statement issued yesterday, the Korea Fair Trade Commission, or KFTC, announced that it had revised guidelines for imposing antitrust fines
