Facebook heads to court to fight UK regulator's refusal to ease Giphy freeze order

Facebook is mounting a court challenge of the UK competition regulator's refusal to grant "carveout" requests from a freeze order over the US tech giant's recent acquisition of Giphy while the watchdog investigates the deal.

Facebook lodged an application with the UK's specialist antitrust court on Aug. 26, accusing the Competition and Markets
