Facebook doesn't need news as much as media need platforms, Australian publishers warned

Facebook doesn’t need Australian news content as much as the media publishers that publish that news need digital platforms, according to a Facebook submission to the country’s competition regulator, which is devising a mandatory code of conduct to govern the relationship.
