Facebook defeats Canadian suit over Cambridge Analytica privacy breach

Facebook has defeated private litigation filed in Canada over the leak of data belonging to millions of users that made its way to political data-mining firm Cambridge Analytica, with a provincial judge in Ontario finding the case couldn't proceed absent proof that Canadians’ data was affected.
