Facebook data leak looks like it may have violated GDPR, Irish watchdog says

Facebook formally came under investigation by Irish regulators today over a global data leak affecting 530 million users, in what will likely be one of the most closely watched cases since the EU's strict privacy laws came into force almost three years ago.
