EU-US data flows deal not good enough and more protections needed, EU lawmakers warn

The EU’s data flows deal with the US is not good enough, a European Parliament committee has said. 

The EU-US Data Privacy Framework would not properly protect EU citizens' data, the parliament's civil liberties committee said in a draft resolution today, and it called on the European Commission to rejoin negotiations.
