EU's anti-coercion tool to include 'very broad' arsenal of countermeasures, Weyand says

EU countries facing coercive actions by foreign governments may see the bloc’s proposal for an anti-coercion mechanism provide for a broad arsenal of countermeasures, the EU's top trade official has said.
Sabine Weyand, director of the European Commission's trade department, said the bloc’s response could include import tariffs and restrictions
