EU's 2030 smart city target at risk due to regulatory barriers, insufficient investment, Vodafone warns

The EU’s target for developing smart and carbon-neutral cities by 2030 could be at risk due to regulatory barriers affecting data sharing, mobility and privacy, telecom giant Vodafone warned today. The company also called for urgent targeted investment in intelligent technologies and connectivity.
