EU proposes strict targets for heavy-duty vehicles as cars talks approach end

Carmakers will see stricter CO2 emissions targets for new heavy-duty vehicles including trucks, city buses and coaches, under proposals put forward by the European Commission today, just as the European Parliament puts final touches to a separate deal on cars.
