EU payment rules overhaul should address crypto, competition issues, think-tank report says

The EU’s upcoming revision of the Payment Services Directive should clarify legal uncertainties around digital payments and crypto and ensure fairer competition between market players, a report commissioned by the EU executive has recommended.
The report, authored by the think tanks VVA and CEPS, will serve as a reference document
