EU makers of optical-fiber cables call for EU subsidy probe into Chinese imports

Chinese optical-fiber cables face a request for an EU probe into suspicions of unfair government support, MLex has learned.
EU producers of the cables — used principally in the telecom and energy industries — have asked the European Commission to open the investigation to run alongside another one, on dumping claims.
