EU-India investment deal could be 'first step' to improving trade relations, Portugal says

The EU is exploring cutting the scope of a deal with India down to investment rules only as talks are frozen on a comprehensive trade agreement. The issue will be discussed with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a summit in May, a Portuguese official has said.
