EU gas price cap talks to continue Monday as ministers fail to reach deal

EU energy ministers failed last night to reach a deal on a “market correction mechanism” for gas prices, disagreeing on the conditions for it to be triggered. They will now try to seal a deal at their next meeting on Dec. 19.
