EU bid to backdate Chinese aluminum extrusion tariffs faces court challenge

European manufacturers have seen plans for tariffs on aluminum extrusions from China dragged to the EU courts after two Chinese producers challenged moves to allow any duties to be backdated.

Guangdong Haomei New Materials and Guangdong King Metal Light Alloy Technology are suing the European Commission over its move to enable a retrospective imposition
