Engie takes fight over preferential Luxembourg tax treatment to EU's top court

French energy company Engie has started litigation at the EU's highest court to overturn a ruling that found its tax treatment in Luxembourg breached state aid rules.

That ruling in May saw judges at the lower-tier General Court uphold a European Commission decision that Engie’s preferential tax treatment resulted from a derogation
