DOJ's Kanter faces tough questions from US federal judge on planned third trial in broiler chicken criminal antitrust case

Jonathan Kanter, the US Department of Justice’s antitrust chief, was questioned by a US federal judge today as to why the agency believes that a third criminal antitrust trial of five chicken industry executives will lead to a conviction despite two mistrials because of “polarized” jurors.
