DIC amends BASF pigments acquisition in bid for EU approval

Japanese chemicals company DIC has offered to amend its purchase of BASF’s global pigments business, in a bid to win EU merger approval.
The remedy offer prompted the European Commission to extend by 10 working days its deadline for reaching a decision on the deal. Its new deadline is Dec.
