Dentons didn’t carry out proper money laundering checks on ‘high-risk’ PEP, UK tribunal told

Law firm Dentons failed to carry out proper anti-money laundering checks on a “high-risk” ex-Soviet Union-linked client who chaired an international bank, and this failure was a breach of the UK’s financial crime regulations, a UK tribunal was told today.
