Deal on EU due-diligence rules agreed in parliament's economy committee

A compromise on new EU due-diligence rules has been agreed in the European Parliament’s economic affairs committee.

A deal late last week between political groups of the center and left — the Socialists and Democrats, the Greens, Renew Europe and the Left — was approved in a tight committee vote this morning.
