Covid-19 crisis 'not a shield against competition enforcement,' Vestager warns

Companies can't expect to dodge antitrust enforcement on the back of the economic upheaval caused by the coronavirus pandemic, EU competition chief Margrethe Vestager said today. 
While retailers may benefit from some antitrust exemptions, she said cartels and Big Tech would still face scrutiny.
