Competition regulators 'picking up pieces' of patchy GDPR enforcement, Coscelli says

Underenforcement of European privacy rules has left competition regulators “picking up the pieces,” the chief executive of the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority has said.

Andrea Coscelli said that privacy and competition issues were increasingly closely linked in digital markets, but that poor enforcement of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation
