Compass-Gaspetro deal cleared without conditions in Brazil

Compass Gás e Energia's planned purchase of a 51 percent stake in gas distributor Gaspetro from state-controlled oil giant Petrobras has been cleared without conditions in Brazil.

A majority of the Tribunal of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, upheld the Superintendence decision issued in March, after finding that Petrobras' sale
