Clearview AI in line for GBP17 million UK data protection fine

Facial recognition company Clearview AI is likely to be fined more than 17 million pounds ($23 million) and be banned from processing UK citizens’ data under a provisional enforcement action announced today.

The Information Commissioner’s Office said it intended to fine the US-based company following a joint investigation with the Office
