China’s commerce minister to hold last-ditch talks with EU to avert hefty EV duties

China’s Commerce Minister Wang Wentao will arrive in Brussels in two weeks’ time to strike a deal with the EU to allow Chinese electric-vehicle manufacturers to dodge the bloc’s planned countervailing duties, MLex has learned. The make-or-break talks will precede the EU governments’ vote on the measures, expected at the end
