California regulator asks GM's Cruise for information on car’s interaction with police

California’s motor vehicles regulator is gathering information from Cruise, General Motors’ self-driving technology unit, regarding a recent incident in San Francisco where a driverless car drove off after being pulled over by the police, and stopped again shortly after.
