Buying alliances warrant 'careful eye' to prevent cartel behavior, EU's Vestager says

Alliances between retailers and wholesalers to buy up supplies of household goods warrant a "very careful eye" to ensure they don't become a "cover for cartel behavior," the EU's top antitrust enforcer said.
