Brussels airport to appeal GDPR fine issued over Covid-19 temperature checks

The main airport serving Brussels will appeal the data protection fine it received last month over Covid-19 temperature checks, a spokesperson told MLex.

The Belgian privacy regulator imposed a fine of 200,000 euros ($211,000) on the company for not having the right legal basis to process passengers’ health data.
