Broadcom-VMware EU merger review clock stopped

The EU review of Broadcom’s bid to take over virtualization software specialist VMware has been suspended, according to an update published on the European Commission's website today.

The clock has been stopped since Jan. 24, the update says. Before the suspension, the regulator had until May 11 to decide on the transaction.
