Brazil signals glimmer of hope for global carbon trading rules at COP26, EU negotiator says

Carbon-trading industries got a hint today that talks on standardized rules on international carbon markets and offsets might have been given a boost at the COP26 UN climate summit, after the EU’s chief negotiator at the talks said former holdout Brazil had signaled “additional flexibility” for negotiations.
