Brazil's CADE analyzing whether notification of sales of soccer teams is necessary

The Brazilian competition authority is investigating whether the acquisitions of soccer teams by investors need antitrust approval, an agency spokesperson told MLex.

Documents in the case are confidential.

The Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, is considering a hearing on the subject with experts, soccer teams and officials from the Securities and Exchange
