BMW tells appeal court UK antitrust fine over information request is unlawful

Carmaker BMW told a judge today that a fine imposed by the UK's competition watchdog last month for not complying with an information request in a vehicle-recycling antitrust probe was unlawful.

On Dec. 6, the Competition and Markets Authority fined BMW AG — the carmaker's main corporate entity, based in Germany — 30,000 pounds
