Bill allowing Big Tech dealmaking with news publishers approved by US Senate panel

The US Senate Judiciary Committee today approved a bill to establish a six-year period in which news organizations and non-network broadcasters would be exempt from certain antitrust laws after resolving a disagreement over the impact on content moderation.
