Big Tech companies to get EU guidance on voice assistants, Hamburg regulator says

Google, Facebook, Amazon and other companies with voice-activated assistance systems will get guidance on ensuring these comply with EU privacy rules, the Hamburg data-protection authority said today.

Presenting its 2019 annual report, the watchdog also ratcheted up criticism it has leveled before about aspects of enforcement of the bloc's General Data
