Baxter, Hospira win dismissal of saline price-fixing suit

Medical companies Baxter and Hospira succeeded in permanently dismissing an antitrust case accusing them of fixing prices on intravenous saline solution through production quotas and product destruction.
In an opinion Friday, US District Judge John Tharp in Chicago dismissed the lawsuit for a second time, without giving the plaintiffs
