Battery industry sees EU lawmakers align on demand for stricter sustainability rules

Proposed rules for Europe's batteries industry should include tougher requirements on due diligence, recycling and interoperability, EU lawmakers agreed today, and batteries for light vehicles such as e-scooters should come under the rules.
