Basel deal with carveouts is better than nothing, Czech finance minister says

EU countries may be taking “a more cautious approach” to implement the globally-agreed Basel banking standards, but this is better than “not implementing anything at all,” Czech Minister of Finance Zbyněk Stanjura has said.
