Barclays, other banks to see EU court examine if information-sharing deal equals restriction by object

Barclays, Santander and nine other banks will see EU’s top court determine if their deal in Portugal to share sensitive information on mortgages, loans and retail-banking products constitutes a restriction of competition “by object.”
The EU Court of Justice will shed light on the need to prove the anticompetitive effects
