Auto parts from Germany, Japan may face new US tariffs on steel, aluminum

Imported motor vehicle bumpers from Germany, Japan and other countries may get hit with new US steel and aluminum tariffs next month.

President Donald Trump announced that he will apply the existing tariffs of 25 percent on steel and 10 percent on aluminum to downstream products made of these metals,
