Australia launches inquiry into anti-money laundering regime

Australia will launch an inquiry into the “adequacy and efficacy” of the country’s anti-money laundering regime. Lawmakers in the Senate, the upper house of Australia’s parliament, today approved a motion for the inquiry, which was put forward by Senator Deborah O'Neill of the opposition Australian Labor Party.
