Australia faces the prospect of a domestic-airline monopoly as Virgin calls in administrators

Airline operator Virgin Australia Group has entered into voluntary administration this morning, raising the prospect of rival Qantas Airways remaining as the only significant provider of domestic air travel once the country emerges from Covid-19 travel restrictions.
