Austrac set to add more staff, improve reporting system as government commits extra A$105 million over four years

Australia’s anti-money laundering agency is looking to hire more than 40 additional staff during the next financial year.

The Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre, known as Austrac, currently has roughly 381 staff and it hopes to increase the average staffing level to 428 during the next year, according to its 2020-21
