Atacadão-Grupo BIG deal gets 90-day deadline extension in Brazil

A review of warehouse store company Atacadão's planned buyout of Grupo BIG Brasil will be extended for an additional 90 days, the Brazilian competition authority's Tribunal decided today.
The new deadline for the Tribunal of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, to issue a ruling is June 4.
